Spa Resort,
Nandgaon
An air of comfort washes over the visitor as soon as they enter the Spa Resort at Nandgaon. This is because the design has been influenced by the location, climate, and local vernacular architecture of the region. The big, central, courtyard is the heart of the house and a common communication place with a small exercise swimming pool at the middle. This sets the ambience of the space here. It is reminiscent of the old wadas that boasted a central courtyard, albeit in a modern avatar. The ground floor also has spacious dining area near the kitchen and a big verandah at the back from where one can access the deck above the stream.

The ground floor has various common areas like visitors’ lobby, leisure lounge, and a reading area with a lift to go to the upper floors. The first floor overlooks the central courtyard and the pool. This has 2 lounges/bar and a massage area as a common facility and 4 suites. The suite consists of a big, well-furnished master bed with some leisure sitting area.
Nights at the Spa Resort are a whole new experience altogether. The space transforms into an ambient location, far from the crowd and gives a unique experience to the people visiting. One could spend the days relaxing in and around the resort, and the nights on the spacious terrace which is covered to protect from the rain.
