This is a weekend house nestled in a quaint area on the outskirts of Pune City.

The brief  was to have a space for solitude, as well as one that houses necessary elements to stay in peace, away from the urban fabric. The house occupies minimal part of the plot while the surroundings have been thoughtfully designed with soft, hard landscape accordingly.

 

The existing trees have been retained and ample space has been provided to create green zones of organic farming, lawn, and flower beds to merge with the vicinity. A tusli vrindavan responding to the design ideology has been placed near the entrance.

A perfect getaway from the hustle bustle of city life to relax and rejuvenate in the lap of nature.
